We’re thrilled to announce that Curana Health has been named the 147th fastest growing, privately owned company in the nation on Inc. magazine’s prestigious Inc. 5000 list. Curana also ranked 16th in the “Healthcare & Medical” industry category and 21st in Texas.

This recognition underscores Curana Health’s impact in transforming senior housing by supporting operator stability and ensuring seniors receive the high-quality care they deserve.

A Better Healthcare Option for Older Adults

In recent years, the senior care industry has been steadily shifting its focus from delivering more care to better care. In this evolving landscape, senior housing communities, physicians, and other providers have new opportunities to thrive within value-based care models that prioritize resident well-being and reward high-quality, evidence-based practices.

Curana Health is leading this transformation by bringing together every part of the senior care ecosystem around a common goal: improving health outcomes for seniors while creating lasting value for the communities and facilities that support them.

We have been growing quickly, and today, we serve more than 200,000 seniors annually across almost 2,000 communities in 33 states.

Transforming Senior Care, Together

Since 2021, Curana Health has led the way in advancing senior care nationwide, partnering with communities to deliver solutions that are both personalized and scalable.

As a national leader, we bring proven models, deep clinical expertise, and innovative care strategies to the table. Through our solutions, we deliver exceptional care with lasting impact on patients and communities.

Our support model includes:

  • On-Site, Value-Based Primary Care and Behavioral Health: Our primary care and behavioral health teams work within senior living and skilled nursing communities to provide proactive, personalized care. This keeps residents healthier and communities thriving.
  • Medical Directorship Services: We provide dedicated medical directors who conduct consistent patient rounding, guide strategic risk management, and offer clinical leadership on regulations and medication oversight.
  • Innovative Payment Models: Through our two Accountable Care Organizations—one Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) and one in the Realizing Equity, Access, and Community Health (REACH) model—we help partners improve care quality while earning shared savings.
  • Medicare Advantage Special Needs Plans: We offer flexible partnership opportunities for communities interested in joining or launching Medicare Advantage Special Needs Plans tailored to senior living residents and skilled nursing patients.

These solutions have a proven record of success. Operator partners have reported:

  • 39% reduction in hospital readmissions
  • 39% fewer instances of polypharmacy
  • 30% fewer falls
  • 95% resident satisfaction

A Recognition That Reflects Our Mission

For almost two decades, Inc. magazine has published the Inc. 5000 list as a benchmark for entrepreneurial success in America. To earn a spot, companies must show strong, sustained revenue growth and real traction in their industry. Curana Health is honored to be recognized in this year’s rankings, reflecting our rapid expansion from 2021 to 2024.

“Our success, our growth, and our place on the Inc. 5000 list are all products of the incredible clinical results our teams have achieved and the collaborative relationships we have built with our highly-valued community partners,” said Mark Price, Chief Executive Officer for Curana Health. “We’re proud of what we’ve achieved together, and we look forward to improving the health, happiness, and dignity of senior living and skilled nursing residents across the country for years to come.”

What Comes Next

With census levels returning to pre-pandemic levels and the senior housing sector poised for renewed momentum, we’re ready for the road ahead.

We are growing our reach, expanding our partnerships, and delivering new care models that improve outcomes and create long-term value. Our focus remains on delivering healthcare that is not only high-quality, but also deeply human.

To our incredible team members, whose expertise and compassion shine every day—we’re grateful for you.

To the seniors and caregivers who place their trust in us—your health, happiness, and dignity are our purpose.

And finally, to our operator partners—we’re honored to stand beside you as we redefine the future of senior care.

This recognition belongs to all of us, and we can’t wait to see what we’ll accomplish together next.
